Exertive dancing has significant “positive effects on pain threshold (a proxy for endorphin activation) and in-group bonding” as the study revealed.

So dancing actually builds up important resources we need to cope with stress. Endorphin gives us relieving moments of joy whereas stronger personal bonds might lead to emotional support under tense circumstances in life. So you might want to consider going to the club when you feel stressed out.
